Smith Paragraph

Terry Smith discusses the culture of contemporary art and its influence on and in the art world. He continues on about how the term “contemporary art” is integrated into society. He believes that contemporary art is globalized, creating the ability to extend across other nationalities and cultural traditions. He explores how contemporary art has created a standard of what art should be, and how words can be so pervasive and moving.

Art now has become a spectacle of where the artist is able to draw in viewers by creating the most elaborate and awe inspiriting art forms. Art does not always exemplify the beauty but can show morose subjectivity as well.

I hope to gain more knowledge about contemporary art. I am excited to learn more about art and to broaden my appreciation for art. It will be nice to lean how art transformed from classic to contemporary. And how contemporary art will transform or influence other art movements.
