By some streak of fate, the Denver Art Museum was the only museum in the United States to exhibit Yves Saint Laurent’s groundbreaking fashion. After discovering this exhibition I was very excited and pleased because of the many arguments I have had with people in the past over weather fashion is art or not. Review of Artist Lecture

Aki Sasamoto makes me question exactly what the meaning of the word art is. Upon entering the lecture hall, I was prepared for yet another artist lecture; see some slides and hear the artist talk about their work, but as she walked up to the podium at the front of the lecture hall, Aki Sasamoto began to introduce herself. Instead of the normal, “Hi, my name is blah blah blah….”, she began to type on her computer, the screen largely projected in front of us. This was the beginning of the unconventional behavior.
